Team Vogel vs. Cancer is a group of people, connected in a fight against cancer, started by Joe and Rachel Vogel. Joe began his battle with cancer in May 2006, and he and his family were overwhelmed with the love and support shown by Joe's friends, family, coworkers and community. Team Vogel vs. Cancer is Joe and Rachel's way to pay it forward by hosting and participating in a variety of events to raise money for cancer. The biggest of all of these is the Team Vogel vs. Cancer Fundraiser: a weekend-long event raising money for cancer research and families dealing with cancer in the Winona, MN area. Joe will remain the honorary president of Team Vogel, and we will continue to work in his name until a cure has been found.
